Stay away from my gravyboat

We're very excited to be releasing the new 7" single by RUDE WEIRDO.  We've wanted to work with these guys for years and now we finally get the chance.  This two song seven incher features the songs "Burkesville Ponce" and "Fat Fiend."  The included download card gets you a download of both songs plus the bonus cut "Hey Freaky, Hi Freaky" (see awesome video below).  The vinyl is a custom colored robin's egg blue and the screen printed covers features artwork by Rude Weirdo's very own Chad Marquis.

The release show will take place on Saturday, October 8th at Harley's Main Street Tavern (122 West Main St.).  10pm.  $5.  Opening will be Cross and Puma Blues.

Hal Dolls/Rude Weirdo pics

Photos from last weekend's fantastic EarXtacy After Dark event with HAL DOLLS and RUDE WEIRDO have been posted on Flickr. The shots are all by Bryan Volz (the man behind one of the pillars of the Louisville punk scene, louisvillehardcore.com). We'd like to thank another pillar of the Louisville music scene EarXtacy's Sean Bailey for making the event happen as well as for his continued enthusiastic support of our efforts. What a couple of swell guys!

Kentucky Chrome Revue review

Brett Eugene Ralph's Kentucky Chrome Revue CD has just been reviewed by Al Maginnes in Option Magazine...
"It’s a homegrown masterpiece that effortlessly places Ralph in the small company of songwriters who have something to say and who say it well."
